I learned a lot more vocabulary over the past two weeks than ever. My teacher were fun and were very patient with my slow learning, and it made each class go by so fast. I only wish I could have focused more on sentence structure, but I think I will find that in the level 2 class! Overall, great learning experience.

I was nervous coming into the class but the quality of the lessons quickly removed any fear. The teachers and lessons were well prepared with their own custom Cinta Bahasa textbooks. They are able to work at any pace and there is a great mix between written work and practicing my speech.
Dewa (my main teacher) was highly professional and experienced with foreign language students. Also patient and with humour. He was always attentive to my requests and answered to all my questions and tailored the lesson to my needs. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who would like to study Indonesian language.

My mum is from Indonesia but I grew up in Germany, so I actually never learned much from my mum apart from the basics. Trias is such a good teacher! She was able to adapt to my level and we followed the learning material but I also had a lot of questions outside. So I am really happy I choose the one to one course. To me it was perfect and I want to continue to learn but I am also already able to have a conversation in BI. Thank you!

We had lessons for 4 hours a week long. I recommend to others to spread the lessons more. 4 hours a day can be long and exhausting, andd when you take more time and days you will remember better. But it’s possible! I really really liked the lessons here. The gurus are very nice and good at their jobs! We had a very nice week and I will recommend this school to everyone! Vetta is a lovely teacher who explains the language really well. She explains the context and also gives a lot of examples with the words, so it makes the language easier to understand. GI enjoyed my 20 hour course pre-intermediate with Dika and Dewa. I completed my elementary course with Dika and appreciated that we could continue learning together. A testimonial for Cinta Bahasa can only be positive. The teachers are dedicated, passionate, creative and qualified. The team of teachers will be able to enable almost anyone to learn a decent level of Bahasa Indonesia within a limited timeframe. I have learned a lot during my 80 hours of intensive classes. Of course, I am not yet fluent but becoming fluent from the current basis is absolutely possible. Another great service is the availability of online tutorials, which make the package complete.

Dony is an amazing teacher. I highly recommend the course. Despite never speaking a word of bahasa Indonesia (except terima kasih) I was able to speak/understand our waiters & gojek drivers by the end of the week.

Last minute I decided to go to Indonesia and take Indonesian classes. Very pleased that Cinta Bahasa could arrange three classes so quickly. The classes were quite intensive (especially with slight jet-lag), but very good. A lot of talking which is exactly the way I like to learn a language. A big thanks to TJ and Trias. Thank you for accommodating me as the only person signed up for pre-intermediate class. I really enjoyed learning with Ace – she is easy going and has a good sense of humor, connects well with her students, and was very flexible in adopting the curriculum to my needs and requests! (I did feel sometimes I wanted more structure and review of previous lessons – this is my experience as a student returning from not taking class for 1 year). What a wonderful and enriching experience! This intensive 20 days course has truly opened my eyes to the Indonesian language. I came here to learn a little Indonesian to be able to communicate with people. After 20 hours of one-on-one class with Ace, I can have conversation with local people. Of course, it is not philosophical one, but I can understand and talk daily life sentences. I don’t feel like I’m a tourist anymore! And it’s great to see the smile on people’s faces when I start to speak Indonesian. The classes were fun and Ace is a great and interesting teacher. She knows a lot!

Cinta Bahasa is a great school with our great Cleo being a great teacher patiently teaching us Bahasa Indonesia. After one month I can read, write, and speak basic Indonesian. The locals are surprised and impressed I learned so much in a short time!

Cinta Bahasa offers a casual but comprehensive learning environment. I was fortunate to attend with a great group and be guided by an intelligent, engaging teacher. I’ve left with an extensive knowledge base and confidence to engage and converse.

What else can I say than only good things? What makes this place special is the love that the teachers have for teaching. Every lesson, without fail, each and every new word gets written down and every grammatical structure explained. The true interest in the student’s background, plans, etc., always makes for good conversation, it never seem forced. The flexibility with the schedule was also great, when I had to leave the country because of my eyes for example. So, in short: keep doing what you are doing! I had a great experience at Cinta Bahasa. My small beginner’s class was the perfect size and we became friends. Our teacher Cleo was a delight. I’ve learnt a lot of Indonesian language and can now follow very simple conversations but I may come back next year to do an intermediate course. I enjoyed it that much!

I like studying Bahasa Indonesia at Cinta Bahasa. I have learned a lot about the language and also about the Balinese culture. There was a lot of room for personal questions. What I liked about Dika’s class was that he made us talk to each other in Indonesian. This way I learned faster. Dika and Trias are both really nice people and have taught me a lot! I came here to learn a little Indonesian to be able to communicate with people. After 20 hours of one-on-one class with Ace, I can have conversation with local people. Of course, it is not philosophical one, but I can understand and talk daily life sentences. I don’t feel like I’m a tourist anymore! And it’s great to see the smile on people’s faces when I start to speak Indonesian. The classes were fun and Ace is a great and interesting teacher. She knows a lot!
What a wonderful and enriching experience! This intensive 20 days course has truly opened my eyes to the Indonesian language. This was only made possible by the extremely patient gurus here at the school, most importantly guru Viona, guru Ace, guru TJ, and guru Dewa. Thank you for accommodating me as the only person signed up for pre-intermediate class. I really enjoyed learning with Ace – she is easy going and has a good sense of humor, connects well with her students, and was very flexible in adopting the curriculum to my needs and requests! (I did feel sometimes I wanted more structure and review of previous lessons – this is my experience as a student returning from not taking class for 1 year). I hope to continue with classes in my next visit and maybe also online while waiting for my next visit and will happily recommend Cinta Bahasa to others wishing to learn Bahasa Indonesia. I am completely amazed at how much I have learnt in last month. Last minute I decided to go to Indonesia and take Indonesian classes. Very pleased that Cinta Bahasa could arrange three classes so quickly. The classes were quite intensive (especially with slight jet-lag), but very good. A lot of talking which is exactly the way I like to learn a language. A big thanks to TJ and Trias. Dony is the best language teacher I have ever had! His energy, patience, and ability to adapt and accommodate different learning styles is incredible. Highly highly recommend and just wish there was another Dony in Jakarta that I could continue with.

The team of teachers will be able to enable almost anyone to learn a decent level of Bahasa Indonesia within a limited timeframe. I have learned a lot during my 80 hours of intensive classes. Of course, I am not yet fluent but becoming fluent from the current basis is absolutely possible. Another great service is the availability of online tutorials, which make the package complete.
GI enjoyed my 20 hour course pre-intermediate with Dika and Dewa. I completed my elementary course with Dika and appreciated that we could continue learning together. I learned a lot more vocabulary over the past two weeks than ever. My teachers were fun and were very patient with my slow learning, and it made each class go by so fast. I only wish I could have focused more on sentence structure, but I think I will find that in the level 2 class! Overall, great learning experience!

Vetta is a lovely teacher who explains the language really well. She explains the context and also gives a lot of examples with the words, so it makes the language easier to understand. We had lessons for 4 hours a week long. I recommend to others to spread the lessons more. 4 hours a day can be long and exhausting, andd when you take more time and days you will remember better. But it’s possible! I really really liked the lessons here. The gurus are very nice and good at their jobs! We had a very nice week and I will recommend this school to everyone! My time here has been such a higlight, with the lessons proceeding at my own pace, and with my teachers, providing so much encouragement, cultural insight and good humour. My mum is from Indonesia but I grew up in Germany, so I actually never learned much from my mum apart from the basics. Trias is such a good teacher! She was able to adapt to my level and we followed the learning material but I also had a lot of questions outside. So I am really happy I choose the one to one course. To me it was perfect and I want to continue to learn but I am also already able to have a conversation in BI. Thank you!

Dewa (my main teacher) was highly professional and experienced with foreign language students. Also patient and with humour. He was always attentive to my requests and answered to all my questions and tailored the lesson to my needs. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who would like to study Indonesian language.
I was nervous coming into the class but the quality of the lessons quickly removed any fear. The teachers and lessons were well prepared with their own custom Cinta Bahasa textbooks. They are able to work at any pace and there is a great mix between written work and practicing my speech.
My three weeks at Cinta Bahasa were like three weeeks of wonderful classes with different teachers. My goal was to advance my conversation skills. With the expertise and patience of my teachers I didn’t just achieve my goal but also learned a lot about Bali, Indonesia and the world. Thank you!

I came here to learn a little Indonesian to be able to communicate with people. After 20 hours of one-on-one class with Ace, I can have conversation with local people. Of course, it is not philosophical one, but I can understand and talk daily life sentences. I don’t feel like I’m a tourist anymore! And it’s great to see the smile on people’s faces when I start to speak Indonesian. The classes were fun and Ace is a great and interesting teacher. She knows a lot!
What a wonderful and enriching experience! This intensive 20 days course has truly opened my eyes to the Indonesian language. My week at Cinta Bahasa this year has been excellent. Viona has been very patient with me! Thank you for accommodating me as the only person signed up for pre-intermediate class. I really enjoyed learning with Ace – she is easy going and has a good sense of humor, connects well with her students, and was very flexible in adopting the curriculum to my needs and requests! (I did feel sometimes I wanted more structure and review of previous lessons – this is my experience as a student returning from not taking class for 1 year). I hope to continue with classes in my next visit and maybe also online while waiting for my next visit and will happily recommend Cinta Bahasa to others wishing to learn Bahasa Indonesia. I am completely amazed at how much I have learnt in last month. Having gone from struggling to even remember how to say good morning a month ago, to being able to express myself and ask for what I need in Bahasa Indonesia. Last minute I decided to go to Indonesia and take Indonesian classes. Very pleased that Cinta Bahasa could arrange three classes so quickly. The classes were quite intensive (especially with slight jet-lag), but very good. A lot of talking which is exactly the way I like to learn a language. A big thanks to TJ and Trias. The team of teachers will be able to enable almost anyone to learn a decent level of Bahasa Indonesia within a limited timeframe. I have learned a lot during my 80 hours of intensive classes. Of course, I am not yet fluent but becoming fluent from the current basis is absolutely possible. Another great service is the availability of online tutorials, which make the package complete.
GI enjoyed my 20 hour course pre-intermediate with Dika and Dewa. I completed my elementary course with Dika and appreciated that we could continue learning together. I learned a lot more vocabulary over the past two weeks than ever. My teachers were fun and were very patient with my slow learning, and it made each class go by so fast. I only wish I could have focused more on sentence structure, but I think I will find that in the level 2 class! Overall, great learning experience!

Vetta is a lovely teacher who explains the language really well. She explains the context and also gives a lot of examples with the words, so it makes the language easier to understand. We had lessons for 4 hours a week long. I recommend to others to spread the lessons more. 4 hours a day can be long and exhausting, andd when you take more time and days you will remember better. But it’s possible! I really really liked the lessons here. The gurus are very nice and good at their jobs! We had a very nice week and I will recommend this school to everyone! My mum is from Indonesia but I grew up in Germany, so I actually never learned much from my mum apart from the basics. Trias is such a good teacher! She was able to adapt to my level and we followed the learning material but I also had a lot of questions outside. So I am really happy I choose the one to one course. To me it was perfect and I want to continue to learn but I am also already able to have a conversation in BI. Thank you!

Dewa (my main teacher) was highly professional and experienced with foreign language students. Also patient and with humour. He was always attentive to my requests and answered to all my questions and tailored the lesson to my needs. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who would like to study Indonesian language.
I was nervous coming into the class but the quality of the lessons quickly removed any fear. The teachers and lessons were well prepared with their own custom Cinta Bahasa textbooks. They are able to work at any pace and there is a great mix between written work and practicing my speech.
My three weeks at Cinta Bahasa were like three weeeks of wonderful classes with different teachers. My goal was to advance my conversation skills. With the expertise and patience of my teachers I didn’t just achieve my goal but also learned a lot about Bali, Indonesia and the world. Thank you!

My week at Cinta Bahasa this year has been excellent. Viona has been very patient with me! I asked her to give me lots of practice with conversation as I can speak a little Bahasa Indonesia but have trouble understanding. Thank you for accommodating me as the only person signed up for pre-intermediate class. I really enjoyed learning with Ace – she is easy going and has a good sense of humor, connects well with her students, and was very flexible in adopting the curriculum to my needs and requests! (I did feel sometimes I wanted more structure and review of previous lessons – this is my experience as a student returning from not taking class for 1 year). I hope to continue with classes in my next visit and maybe also online while waiting for my next visit and will happily recommend Cinta Bahasa to others wishing to learn Bahasa Indonesia. I am completely amazed at how much I have learnt in last month. Having gone from struggling to even remember how to say good morning a month ago, to being able to express myself and ask for what I need in Bahasa Indonesia. Last minute I decided to go to Indonesia and take Indonesian classes. Very pleased that Cinta Bahasa could arrange three classes so quickly. The classes were quite intensive (especially with slight jet-lag), but very good. A lot of talking which is exactly the way I like to learn a language. A big thanks to TJ and Trias. Dony is the best language teacher I have ever had! His energy, patience, and ability to adapt and accommodate different learning styles is incredible. Highly highly recommend and just wish there was another Dony in Jakarta that I could continue with.
Dony is an amazing teacher. I highly recommend the course. Despite never speaking a word of bahasa Indonesia (except terima kasih) I was able to speak/understand our waiters & gojek drivers by the end of the week.

A testimonial for Cinta Bahasa can only be positive. The teachers are dedicated, passionate, creative and qualified. The team of teachers will be able to enable almost anyone to learn a decent level of Bahasa Indonesia within a limited timeframe. I have learned a lot during my 80 hours of intensive classes. Of course, I am not yet fluent but becoming fluent from the current basis is absolutely possible. Another great service is the availability of online tutorials, which make the package complete.
GI enjoyed my 20 hour course pre-intermediate with Dika and Dewa. I completed my elementary course with Dika and appreciated that we could continue learning together. I learned a lot about Bali customs and traditions and how things work in Ubud. I’m also thankful for my new teacher Dewa so I can continue practicing and learn new grammar concepts. I learned a lot more vocabulary over the past two weeks than ever. My teachers were fun and were very patient with my slow learning, and it made each class go by so fast. I only wish I could have focused more on sentence structure, but I think I will find that in the level 2 class! Overall, great learning experience!

We’ve really enjoyed working with Pak Dika. He’s kept the lessons both interesting and challenging while allowing our questions to guide some of the learning. We look forward to practicing our Bahasa Indonesian and having more lessons with him in the future.

Vetta is a lovely teacher who explains the language really well. She explains the context and also gives a lot of examples with the words, so it makes the language easier to understand. We had lessons for 4 hours a week long. I recommend to others to spread the lessons more. 4 hours a day can be long and exhausting, andd when you take more time and days you will remember better. But it’s possible! I really really liked the lessons here. The gurus are very nice and good at their jobs! We had a very nice week and I will recommend this school to everyone! To all of the staff at Cinta Bahasa, I am reallly sad to be writing this letter because it means the end of a wonderful month of learning with you all! My time here has been such a higlight, with the lessons proceeding at my own pace, and with my teachers, providing so much encouragement, cultural insight and good humour. Their teaching methods are high-quality, and I strongly recommend this school for studying bahasa Indonesia (or Basa Bali!)
My mum is from Indonesia but I grew up in Germany, so I actually never learned much from my mum apart from the basics. Trias is such a good teacher! She was able to adapt to my level and we followed the learning material but I also had a lot of questions outside. So I am really happy I choose the one to one course. To me it was perfect and I want to continue to learn but I am also already able to have a conversation in BI. Thank you!

Dewa (my main teacher) was highly professional and experienced with foreign language students. Also patient and with humour. He was always attentive to my requests and answered to all my questions and tailored the lesson to my needs. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who would like to study Indonesian language.
I was nervous coming into the class but the quality of the lessons quickly removed any fear. The teachers and lessons were well prepared with their own custom Cinta Bahasa textbooks. They are able to work at any pace and there is a great mix between written work and practicing my speech.
My three weeks at Cinta Bahasa were like three weeeks of wonderful classes with different teachers. My goal was to advance my conversation skills. With the expertise and patience of my teachers I didn’t just achieve my goal but also learned a lot about Bali, Indonesia and the world. Thank you!
